This topture review is a desk review of a retailer, not of a sauna. I haven't ordered from Topture, so I can't speak to how a delivery actually goes. What I did was read its FAQ, shipping, refund, warranty, financing and About pages, plus several product listings, and then compare a few prices against other pages I could open. The angle is a plain split between what Topture's own policies say, what I could cross-check, and what I couldn't.

A disclosure before anything else: the links to Topture on this page are affiliate links, and Topture pays me a commission if you buy through them. The commission rate doesn't set what I say here or the order of anything on the page.

Topture review: the quick verdict

Topture presents itself as "a specialist multi-brand online sauna retailer, not a sauna manufacturer" that sells to homeowners across the US. The policies are detailed and mostly spelled out in numbers, which I like. The catch is the returns policy: a restocking fee of at least 25% and return shipping at your cost, which on a crated sauna is a serious number. Treat the order as close to final.

My read: it's a reasonable place to price a sauna or heater you've already chosen, provided you read the freight and returns sections below before paying. I'd be more cautious if you're still undecided about the model, because backing out is expensive.

What Topture sells

The About page says Topture is an authorized retailer for every brand it carries and lists heaters and controls from Harvia, HUUM, Saunum and Amerec, plus saunas from SaunaLife, Dundalk LeisureCraft, Finnmark Designs, SunRay, True North Saunas, ThermaSol and Kohler. It also names Icetubs for cold plunges, Mesa and Ariel Platinum for steam showers, and Hooga for red light, with KOLO and ProSaunas as component brands. I only looked closely at the sauna and heater side.

The home sauna collection I opened showed 24 products on page one, with four pages of pagination and no total count. The page one mix included Dundalk cabins and barrels, Finnmark infrared units, SaunaLife cubes and barrels, True North and Kohler kits. Filters cover indoor or outdoor, traditional, infrared or hybrid, capacity from 1 to 8 people, and styles such as cabin, cube, barrel and pod.

If you're still choosing a type, my own roundups cover the product classes sold there: the best 1-2 person sauna, the best indoor sauna, the best outdoor cube sauna and the best outdoor infrared sauna. For heaters, see the best electric sauna heater and the best wood-burning sauna pages.

Topture shipping and freight for large items

The shipping policy says orders over $200 ship free within the contiguous US, orders under $200 pay a small fee shown at checkout, and stones ordered without a heater ship at $60 per box. The exception matters if you're shopping saunas: "SaunaLife and ThermaSol products carry a shipping charge at any order value". On the SaunaLife listings I opened, that shows up as a separate line, for example the CL5G cube at $5,990 plus a $950 flat freight rate. The G11 8-person model on the same collection page listed $1,990 freight.

Standard freight is curbside. The policy says drivers aren't permitted to move freight up driveways or stairs, or into a garage, yard or home. Liftgate service is available on most shipments, but not on oversized models: crates longer than 92 inches and weighing 800 to 1,600 pounds, where "the freight company will not unload the sauna from the truck". The Dundalk Elation barrel page gives a 96 by 45 by 44 inch crate at 1,497 lbs and says no liftgate is available, so you'd have to arrange offloading yourself, such as a forklift. That is a real planning item for a backyard install.

Other rules I'd note:

On timing, the policy says most orders ship within 2 to 7 business days if the unit is in stock, and that dates are "estimates, not guarantees". The listings I opened didn't all agree with that: the Harvia Spirit page quoted 7 to 12 days for in-stock delivery, the CL5G page showed 14 to 22 days, and the Elation page was listed as backordered with no ship date.

Topture return policy

This is the section to read twice. The refund policy says: "You must request your return within 30 days of the delivery date." The item doesn't have to be back by day 30, but the request does. Nothing should be sent without a Return Authorization number, and photo confirmation is required before a return is approved.

Costs and conditions:

My arithmetic, using the policy's minimum: 25% of the $5,990 CL5G price is $1,497.50, and 25% of the $6,945 Elation price (the figure Topture's page showed when I re-checked it on 2026-10-08, down from $7,031 earlier) is $1,736.25. That is before the cost of shipping a 1,500 to 1,700 lb crate back. I don't know whether the fee is applied to the product price alone or to the order total, so ask for the figure in writing.

Cancellations are a separate matter. Orders can be cancelled before they ship, with payment processing fees of typically 2% to 5% deducted. Once an item has shipped it can't be cancelled, and custom products can't be cancelled after production starts. The FAQ also says a defect found after installation is "a warranty matter, not a return".

Warranty handling: Topture or the maker?

Both. The FAQ says products include the applicable manufacturer's warranty, and you contact Topture first, which will help troubleshoot and coordinate with the manufacturer. The warranty page is blunter: Topture's help is "a courtesy service", the manufacturer "retains sole discretion over all warranty decisions", and Topture "cannot guarantee the outcome, timing, or resolution of any warranty claim". Its liability is capped at the purchase price of the product involved, and it excludes labor, removal, reinstallation and transportation costs.

Product pages add manufacturer terms. The Harvia Spirit listing says two years, with a third if you register within 30 days. The HUUM Steel Mini listing says three years for private use, not covering elements or stones, and requires a licensed electrician. The Elation page lists a 5-year limited warranty on the sauna, conditional on certified electrical hookup. For the CL5G, the Topture page describes five years for workmanship, but the SaunaLife page I opened says "limited lifetime warranty" and links to a PDF. I can't reconcile that, so ask which applies. The FAQ also says Harvia, HUUM and SaunaLife limit warranties to products bought from an authorized dealer, and the About page says Topture is one.

Payment and financing

The financing page says Topture uses Shop Pay Installments, provided through lending partners, for purchases from $35 to $30,000 (the page metadata says $50, so the minimum is inconsistent). Monthly plans run 3, 6, 12, 18 or 24 months on orders of $150 to $30,000 at "0-36% APR". The zero-interest headline applies only to eligible plans, a down payment may be required, there's no pre-qualification, and the monthly plans need a debit card. I haven't applied, so I can't tell you what rate any buyer would get.

My comparison on 2026-10-08

I tried to compare Topture's prices with the makers' own pages. It didn't work: the Harvia, HUUM, Saunum and SaunaLife pages I opened show no prices and send you to dealers or a contact form. So I compared four Topture listings against one other retailer page each, which is not the same thing. This applies only to these products on that day.

ProductToptureOther retailer pageNotes
Harvia Spirit 6 kW SP60E$1,715 (list $1,999)$1,715, no discount shownSame price. Stones $408 on both; Fenix control $1,297.78 vs $1,168
HUUM STEEL Mini 3.5 kW$1,576 (retail $1,899)$1,576, though that page's other price fields conflictSame price. That retailer lists a 20% restocking fee
SaunaLife CL5G cube$5,990 plus $950 freight = $6,940 (my arithmetic)$6,940, shipping not stated, heater not confirmedEqual if that page includes shipping, which it doesn't say
Dundalk CT Elation$6,945 on 2026-10-08 (it showed $7,031 earlier), free freight, backordered$6,976, heater not included, shipping not listedTopture $31 lower on the re-check (my arithmetic: 6,976 minus 6,945); the gap flipped sign within two days

Two things stand out. The totals landed close, so I wouldn't pick Topture or avoid it on price alone for these items. And the "original" prices are not comparable between stores: Topture shows $6,899 as the CL5G original while the other page shows $7,980. Judge by the price you'd pay, not the "save" figure. The Elation also needs a heater on top, with Topture's options running from $1,317 to $4,781.

Pros and cons from the policies

Pros:

Cons:

Who Topture suits

It suits you if you know the exact model, have somewhere to put a pallet or crate, and want a US retailer that publishes its terms. It also suits someone who wants a heater and control from one seller with a phone line for troubleshooting. If you're still deciding between a cube and a barrel, or an electric and a wood-burning heater, I'd settle that first. My best outdoor sauna page is a starting point.

Frequently asked questions

Is Topture legit?

From the pages I read, it's a real operating retailer: the About page names a founder, Benny Rehwald, and an operating company, Topture LLC, with a registered address in Sheridan, Wyoming, and the site lists a phone number and email. It says it was founded in 2021. I haven't ordered from them and can't speak to delivery experience, and I'm not going to characterize third-party review sites. Those sites exist, so read a few yourself before a large order.

Does Topture ship saunas for free?

Not always. Orders over $200 ship free in the contiguous US, but SaunaLife and ThermaSol products carry a freight charge at any order value. The Dundalk Elation page I opened listed free freight.

What is the Topture return policy?

Request within 30 days of delivery, get an RA number, and expect a restocking fee of at least 25% plus return shipping at your cost. Installed or used items aren't returnable.

Who handles a warranty claim, Topture or the manufacturer?

You start with Topture, which helps coordinate, but the manufacturer decides.

Does Topture offer financing?

Yes, through Shop Pay Installments, with plans of 3 to 24 months at 0–36% APR depending on eligibility.

What I could not verify

What I would do

Pick the exact model first, using my roundups, and only then price it at Topture. Phone them with your zip code and ask for two things in writing: the delivered price including freight, and the restocking fee in dollars. Then ask whether the crate gets a liftgate. Then compare that total to one or two other dealers, since the prices I found were close.

If a quote includes a heavy crate and you can't take a forklift-style offload, walk away from the oversized models. And if you go ahead with this topture review in your pocket, treat the 30-day window as a safety net you probably won't use.
